RIKKI is ecstatic to be part of bringing quality high school theater to Rhode Island and providing young people with opportunities to flourish both as performers and individuals.
A proud alumna of St. Mary Academy - Bay View (class of 2002), Rikki's passion for music and theater blossomed within the school's esteemed fine arts department. During her time at Bay View, she graced the stage in their annual "Manhattan-At-The-Bay" production six times, contributed to the recording of two choral CDs, and embarked on a musical journey to Italy where the Chamber Chorus had the honor of performing at the Vatican and captivating the audience for the mayor of Florence. |

Rikki pursued her passion for music at the University of Rhode Island, where she studied voice under the guidance of Margaret "Peggy" Frazier and Mark Conley. During her time at URI, Rikki seized numerous performance opportunities, showcasing her talent through solos and featured performances in the URI Concert Choir, University Chorus, and Opera Workshop. Graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and was honored to sing the National Anthem at the URI 2006 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony. Currently pursuing her Masters of Music in Music Education through Rhode Island College, Rikki continues to deepen her knowledge and expertise in the field.
Bringing her passion for music education to West Warwick Public Schools, Rikki is in her seventeenth year of teaching. Her journey began at Greenbush Elementary School, where she taught general music and chorus for eleven years before transferring to West Warwick High School in 2017. Rikki is an active member of prestigious music education associations, including the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME), the Rhode Island Music Educators' Association (RIMEA), and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) an is a contributing editor to The Rhode Island Music Educators' Review (RIMER). Recognized as an honorary member of the West Warwick High School chapter of the TRI-M Modern Music Masters Honor Society in Music, Rikki's dedication to music education is unwavering.
Rikki has extensive dance training and has taught ballet, pointe/pre-pointe, and contemporary dance for many years. She continues to choreograph and substitute teach dance classes throughout the state. She spends significant time volunteering for Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center, where she focuses on mentoring teenagers and young adults as they grow into leadership roles. She is also involved with the American Camp Association New England where she serves as an accreditation visitor and has presented at their annual conference about facilitating successful staff evaluation in a camp setting.
